    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Neither last night or ever. To be clear.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Yeah, but no one here is denying that.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Still looking for any fanboy denying that "he can and should be doing better". This thread is straw man fallacy at its finest.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

There is no "Neymar's fanboy" here denying he can and should do better. I wish this was the problem in this thread, but it's not.

    Sergi Roberto

He was invisible today, but the kid has a lot of credit with me.

His attitude is way worse than his performances. Courtois is a entitled son of a bitch. I don't want him here with his shitty mentality.

    Arda Turan

Completely agree with you. And I honestly don't put him in the same rot bag with Busquets, Gomes and Mats. He was average, IMHO. Tried a couple of things, some gold dribbles and passes, lots of running, etc.

Why? His pass was completely OK. Busquets was not paying enough attention in a crucial moment. Rewatch the goal and you'll see Busquets looking in Piqué's direction instead of the ball. He sould have control that ball easily, of not distracted.

    Sergio Busquets

Mats is the one to blame for Busquets not paying attention in a crucial moment? Come on, the pass was completely OK and he sould control the ball.

Also, this match was lost in the first half by: 1) Busquets' mistakes; 2) Lucho's horrible midfield that don't support defense and attack; 3) Lucho's defense that don't know how to cut lines anymore. Surely his mistake came in a very bad timing, since we were close to come back, but we lost it...

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Sorry, but no. Totally his fault. He just can't control the ball, recently. In the first half time we were suffering a giant pressure from Celta and he decided to try a stupid no-touch dribble right in the midfield after a pass from MATS. And this was just one moment of completely dumbness...

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

It requires an actual midfield. Without it, he will continue to drop deep, just like Messi (the difference here is Messi being an alien who can play in every part of the pitch).
  13. mark1nhu

    André Gomes

Yep, the real problem was the first half.
  14. mark1nhu

    Sergio Busquets

This. No excuses for MATS, but Busquets simply destroyed us since the beginning.

I didn't say it was the decisive factor, but even if I have done it, Neymar has 10x his money being a 25 years old guy, while Bravo is a +30 player that never had big clubs bidding on him until months ago.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Conveniently ignoring that Bravo got a decent pay rise going to City.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Average, just like everyone (except Piqué). But he ran every inch of the pitch, pressed opponents all the time and tried everything to create opportunities. Three excuses that are always used (and accepted) for Suarez.

Courtois in the same post as "mental strength" and "motivation".

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

This. We shouldn't use our GK so constantly. Anyway, horrible and unforgivable mistake. He had better options to make the pass and that was the worst timing ever to do it wrong (we had a chance, before his fuck up).

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Nice play with Arda in the beginning, but apart from that... Horrible first half. He tried a no-touch dribble in the middle, after a pass from Ter Stegen, that almost stopped my heart. It was risky, it was stupid and it was irresponsible. Jesus Christ. This first half of a nightmare.
