Although I agree on the lack of midfielders behind him and also on how poor our midfield currently is, he had some pass options but decided to dribble opponents in a dangerous position.
He was frustrated and he took the wrong decision, leading to a goal. No excuses for that.
During halftime I was thinking "wow, if not by Mats we would be down by 4 or 5 goals". Then the team managed to get that.
PSG deserved to score 6-7, actually.
Also, for those counting how many points he lost us with his mistakes, looks like he already surpassed the number with 1v1 crucial saves when the game is 0x0 alone (not even mentioning other important saves).
Horrible in the first half, taking all wrong decisions. Invisible in the second one.
Ironically, he scored, just to prove again how goals scored is such a misleading stat and gives us no more than a one dimensional analysis.
I still dream with Rafinha and Thiago doing a less talented Iniesta and Xavi duo. With all physical problems Thiago had (and have), I still believe we would be better with him here...
No one said that. Stop making up things so you can hold your narrative.
What about starting to being reasonable and let your agenda aside for a while?
That's ALL we (the so-called "Neymar fans") want.
