I too expect a proper cdm to start for real, probably khedira. Messi with the position he is playing atm with no cdm(s) to defend against him, imo is suicide. He'll have way too many space. If they dont play with khedira or Illara, I expect us to score alot!

Wow people seem pretty pessimistic abou this game. I too see real playing amazing and see them scoring lots of goals, but playing against barca is something completely different. First we always try to have the ball as much as possible so scoring lots of goals against us is almost impossible...

Imo I know this sounds crazy but why not play pedro there. Imo worse than alves in defense is impossible and with his pressing, speed and attacking threat, he could be a decent rb. Our fullbacks are more playing like wingbacks so it is possible. Dunno though if he's willing to play there.

Mehh our midfield sucks atm. Just because our fullbacks are all going forward pretty much every minute, our midfielders have to go wide to fill in those place, eventually making it impossible for them to combine with eachother, meaning that Iniesta really isnt utilizing his strongest points well.

Imo I wouldnt be too worried about iniesta. He always starts the season bad but by playing game after game, you can see his magic again appearing. Give the guy a break. Im sure he'll get better after a few games.
