Will be sad if this doesn't go through. Good for Dembele, I think.

    Is he coming?

    Thiago Translantara

It gives you his high work rate and presence all around the pitch. Will cover for whomever it is. Also, gives you some physicality. Not much, but some for our standards. His stamina and off the ball movement, also. Available throughout the year, plays almost every match, never tires... What...

    Antoine Griezmann

Probably. Just look at his celebrations. But, more likely he's been using us to improve his contract.

Speaking of stats, maybe if Rakitić improves his game he'll become nearly as good defender as Fabregas. I think some here ignore what Rakitić brings to us. Just like Paulinho, physical presence. If we replace him, I'd like to see major improvements in offensive play from the middle. These are...

    Thiago Translantara

Don't think so. Thiago has been great for Spain in that role and will probably partner Busquets.

    Thiago Translantara

Probably been posted before, but if I'm not mistaken, he missed 112 games for Bayern while appearing in 152. Wow, didn't know it was that huge.

    Frenkie de Jong

If we keep Mina, we can't get Arthur. I strongly believe we shouldn't keep Mina. Just not good enough.

    Argentina

Hektor, you are an optimist. Iniesta's role is such a profound one, played by a brilliant player who was working at both ends. Sticking Dybala there is not right because it limits 1) your team with no functioning midfield 2) Dybala, not playing to his strengths. It might work, but obviously...

    Frenkie de Jong

And you end up with no backup defenders bar Vermaelen who'll miss half of the season, at least.

    What Suarez? Goat_Suarez?

    Thiago Translantara

If we were looking for a defensively solid player who can keep position and recycle possession, we would be good enough trusting Rakitić and saving 50 or 70 m. We need someone to break the lines from deep, to organise our offensive game, play through balls and create dager. Those are the stats...

    Argentina

He's a trequartista, classic advanced playmaker. He can probably play anywhere in the final third, not equally good, but not in the midfield. Allegri experimented playing him deeper but it doesn't work. Thus you don't get best of him.
