Copa 1/8 Final: Rayo Vallecano - FC Barcelona 1-2

Everytime I see Firpo starting I cringe. I bet $10 that Rayo will heavily target his side.

    Basketball/NBA

Nah what Lebron is doing is quite special. The guy is still incredibly athletic at age 36. This is nothing to gloss over. If he doesn't suffer some bad injury (ACL, etc.) he could legit play until 40. He is more in shape at his age than rookies and sophomores in the NBA. That in itself is...

    NFL

No good comparison in any other sport. Brady might be the current goat in all of sports. It would be like CR7 or Messi still going to CL final at age 40. CR7 is still just 35.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Well looks like Serie A is going as predicted: Some team besides Juve starts really well, in early January and sometimes early February you think they have it in the bag, then they lose a few games in a row. All going according to plan.

How good was Thierry Henry in his Barcelona's days ?

Dinho was pure entertainment, but overall I enjoyed watching the 08-09 team absolutely destroy the opposition week in week out. Dinho alone was certainly entertaining enough but I feel the 08-09 team was just the absolute peak of that generation. Nearly all players were on form and in sync.

How good was Thierry Henry in his Barcelona's days ?

^^ Why that picture? Yaya Toure was infinitely better than Keita. VV is massively underrated in that 08-09 team. He always came up BIG in important CL and La Liga matches. He was always prone to a dumb error, but you can count on him to be solid when you needed him.

How good was Thierry Henry in his Barcelona's days ?

The trio of Henry-Eto'o-Messi in 08-09 was probably the most entertaining football spectacle I have experienced on TV. Guardiola did an amazing job converting Henry to more of a winger/striker hybrid, in the sense that if he needed to play in the middle he would and if he needed to hug the...

    Mavericky Puig

To be fair nearly all Bein pundits on the talk shows are starting to notice something is really off between the coach and the player too. Even they mentioned that RK had no reaction when Puig scored. It's not just a talking point in this forum, it's on media too. I can't mention the countless...

    Samuel Umtiti

Difficult decision for any coach. One makes me question if he has an IQ lower than 90 and another has one fully functioning knee.
