Yeah, while you were gone we were discussing about what Pepe Silvia would be thinking about the result of the match...no. I'm talking about general sentiments about the match in the US, and I do live in the US in case you were wondering

Both teams DID suck though, they lacked creativity in the final third, especially England...the fact that Shrek didn't touch the ball until the 17th minute and couldn't touch the ball inside the US's penalty area until the 71st minute says it all. The US had a decent enough game defensively but...

I just find it funny that England takes the tie as a loss and Americans take it as a win. And an extremely lucky tie at that.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Nah no need to apologize bro, I don't play video games either. But try watching a bit of footy outside of Barcelona.

    Buh-dum-chh!

    Andrés Iniesta

How is Osasuna a decent attacking side? Their attack is absolutely useless compared to their respectable defense, 37 goals scored in 38 games says it all.

    Filipe Luis

No they weren't...If I remember correctly Alves was directly responsible for at least two of the three goals that we conceded that night.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Are you suggesting the market wasn't inflated before last summer? What kind of parallel universe do you live in? The market has been inflated for a good number of years, I wasn't in anyway implying that Real Madrid is solely responsible for the inflated market, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

The reason why we paid so much money for those players in the first place was because the market was inflated, thanks to Real Madrid.

Awesome! But who's Fernando Quesada? Is he any good?

    Andrés Iniesta

Massive performance today. The neat thing about Eto'o and Iniesta was that they worked so well with each other, it was like they were mentally linked. I think a part of the reason why Iniesta didn't perform as well during 09/10 season was because Eto'o was gone, and it was nice to see him...

Van der Wiel or Bartra, Dalmau, Montoya

Dani is a very good crosser usually, he was just poor at it this season.

    Yaya Toure

He's not rubbish at right back, have you even seen him play there? Clearly not.
  17. 10Rivaldo

Who should we get if Toure leaves?

Mascherano is probably realistic, but I'm gonna use a bit of wishful thinking and say De Rossi.

    Didier Drogba

Owen wouldn't have made it anyway, even if he wasn't injured. Essien and Drogba are missing, I'm assuming Eto'o is one of the four best that's not missing the WC, but whose the other one? Surely not Mikel? :p

    Didier Drogba

Goal.shit suggests that it's a mild elbow fracture and it may only take him about ten days to recover after a surgery. Which means he could make it to the World Cup. I don't know how reliable it is though.

    Yaya Toure

I would start talking to you about Yaya's agent, but let's not go there
