They're not dumbarse. I personally prefer dribbling goals but these take a lot of ability too.

    Overhead and bicycle kicks

Inspired by the discussion in the Ronaldo thread. Post some of the best you have ever seen, and discuss which are the best, taking into account technical quality, position, distance, angle, shinned or not, how much work the player had to do to 'fetch' the ball, degree of difficulty, and...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

Forgot him too. There's been loads who have scored them, was just rattling some of the top of my head. Probably the best ability wise was scored in a fifth division game somewhere and was never televised. Here is one of the Van Basten ones. Look at the deviation of the ball after he connects...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

Probably the best I have seen though is either Garnacho or Trevor Sinclair. Incredible overhead kicks. Bale, Rivaldo, Rooney and Ronaldo's too, among others. Edit - holy fuck, forgot Zlatan. That takes it. Miles out and the ball doesn't even bounce til it crosses the line.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

I know it seems like I am nitpicking, and that was an amazing goal, but incredibly I don't think it was the best bicycle kick scored by a RM player in the CL that season. To me Bale goal was even more impressive, in the final.

    Take care, talk soon bud.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

It's daft. He should be used more sparingly at his age. He doesn't realise it would prolong his career and/or improve performances when he does play. If there is one negative thing I can say about Ronaldo at moment, it's that he doesn't understand the phrase quality over quantity.

    Vitinha

Yeah he is a very good player and still young.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

I agree, he plays better when he has more rest. However, that is partly on him, as he wants to play every game. That is a lovely goal you posted above.

    Rafael Leão

I'm definitely open to admitting I might have judged him too hastily and negatively. However, he likely needs to leave Milan to win big trophies. They're a historic club but struggling to win Serie A and really little threat in the CL. He's 25 now so this is his time if he's gonna make the step...

    Manchester United

Not gonna post all competitions, however their run into January and into the second half of the PL season looks quite difficult. I wouldnt put it past them to get results in some of the games they are not expected to, as they are quite good at that and have a new manager bounce too now. But...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

He's doing really well in Nations League generally - fair play to him. I don't mean it in a bad way, but it is a little strange how he's doing so well here yet struggled in last two tournaments. You could say it is less pressure, or he has home advantage in some of these ties unlike in Germany...

    Nations League 24/25

Scotland actually won, just cannot believe it. Still won't be enough for top two, though.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

See posts like this are totally fine. You make good points and I would happily debate. But what The Stig said... I didn't actually say he would get embarrassed - he might win it. I simply said that it's a risk and he could go out in a high instead - the other option of course is he wins and...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

If we go by Messi fan logic, we are all 'losers' compared to him because he is a genius footballer. So - by the same logic - all of us in here should never troll CR since he is also miles better than us at football? He's not as good as Messi, but still a miles better person than us, apparently...

    Boxing

It's so obvious you are digging me out because I added a laughing smiley when the other braindead poster Messigician said you know ball. Are you seriously telling me Tyson lacks talent compared to Anthony Joshua? And if Tyson had grown up in this era with these advantages in sports science...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Not even opening your posts, dummy. You have never kicked a ball in your life - it is so obvious. Probably an American too.

    Boxing

Yes because of advancements in science and nutrition. I am talking about talent which can be amazing in any era. You're a kid who has been following football 5 minutes, hence your recency bias. You must think Lingard is better than George Best. I have no idea why I even open your posts, you are...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

He's a clueless 15 year old weapon who thinks Thierry Henry is a bigger legend of the game than Garrincha.

    11 - Raphinha

That's superb, especially considering it is more of a right-footer's angle and position for a free-kick. Or you'd expect a left-footer to play to the other side. He whips across it instead of trying to curl it near post. Love goals that go in off the post. They always look amazing.
