    23 - Jules Kounde

Yes, it does seem like an extremely obvious take. To be honest I was rather baffled he was arguing against it. It's a bizarre thing to not understand.

    Neymar

All that all-time great level talent, housed in that injury prone body and with that fucked up brain. It makes me wonder really. Obviously he is much more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo, but look at the difference a better mentality, infinitely more discipline, and a much more healthy fitness...

    Manchester United

Why do you never tag me in here. You know I am the biggest ABU on here :cautious: :lol:

    23 - Jules Kounde

Not true at all, in my opinion. It's more likely their touch will still be good when tired, because they have more technique in general, but even Messi can make more mistakes if he hasn't slept for a while or if he is tired during a game. We don't see it often because of his natural talent, but...

    23 - Jules Kounde

Of course. When you are tired either through being exhausted through playing or not sleeping it affects everything - reaction time, touch. It affects your alertness. Obviously a much lower level, but when I play I notice my touch can be slightly off (and my reaction time) if I haven't had much...

CL 1/8 Final: Barca - Benfica 4-1 agg.

It might be one of those where a game was very entertaining before then the exact same fixture is more modest next time. Plus I tend to predict lower scoring games i.e. 3/4 goals orless, as those tend to be the majority. It's rare you get a 4-4 or 5-4.

    Real Betis

Remember watching this live and my brother and me jumping up and down. Amazing goal that Messi would be proud of.

    The Dutch Eredivisie

I was 16, that was the best goal of France 98. A Cameroon guy scored a belter early in the tournament too (Pierre Njanka). Michael Owen's goal too. France 98 was the best World Cup of my lifetime I think. USA 94 was good too. But might be childhood nostalgia talking. So many good players.

    Tijjani Reijnders

Surprised he didn't have a thread before.

    Jamal Musiala

Yes, that is a huge amount of creativity in one team.

CL 1/8 Final: Barca - Benfica 4-1 agg.

Gone for 1-3. However, Benfica aren't a bad side. Barcelona have to be professional and not underestimate them. After the game in Luz two months ago I don't think they will.

    Jamal Musiala

Musiala and Wirtz are both quality young players, for me. However, it takes more than talent. Reading this thread it seems like Jamal is struggling right now.

    Carlo Ancelotti

Football is not about chucking superstars or big names into a team. It's about balance and team chemistry. You know that. You are a smart, knowledgeable guy.
  15. Maradona37

    Carlo Ancelotti

Yes, he is more of a tweaker. He makes small changes and motivates the players, plays around a bit and makes simple, but effective alterations. He's obviously a great coach, but he's more evolutionary than revolutionary. He hasn't changed the game like Pep has, for example. But you don't have...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I don't support Barca. But yes, I find it weird supporting clubs in other cities and countries too (though less weird than being a player fanboy). I understand though it is the way of the world in a globalised society. It isn't something I would do so when I stopped supporting Rangers I didn't...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I love Brest. They're a handful whenever they play. A bit soft in the middle though.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Last page or two is me moaning about the joke that is patriotism (TemporaryFan feels an affinity towards Lewandowski as they are Polish).
