People are forgetting about Olmo because of his injuries. His first touch to get out of trouble, inventive nature, final ball, vision and goalscoring instinct is top class. Too reactionary.

There's a big difference between simple and direct. Flickball is more direct, vertical and faster than Lucho. Flick's wing play, the way he uses his CF and his midfield on the ball is very fascinating and fairly complex. The patterns of play are well defined and tend to be more progressive...

Pedri Casado/FDJ Olmo is a better midfield for Flick's system. Ruiz Vitinha Neves is a better midfield for Enrique's system. This should be pretty obvious. People are doubting Olmo but his ability has never been in doubt for me.

He's the most talented of the 3. Crazy ability.

Pedri doesn't have the natural swiftness Iniesta had. He doesn't glide across the pitch like Iniesta used to do. He tends to dribble in circles and retain the ball and recycle possession very well. His carries aren't very progressive. It tends to be follow a circular path without much forward...
