    Frenkie de Jong

Exactly :p seeing this from de Jong, one would never say he used to be a top target due to "Barca DNA". But I love it.

Did fine today, was rather dangerous in the first half. Lots of actions going through him. Think it's good he gets to play.

    Frenkie de Jong

That's Pedri in the squad. Fdj was brought here to be a star and would start doing much worse. But yeah, it's nice.

    Mavericky Puig

Was rather average. I'm trying hard to see what's special about him, but seem to miss it. Has very little positional sense, random player roaming around trying to impose himself. Tries to be very vertical and can be flashy, but I'd say that's about it. Steep downgrade from Pedri.

    Frenkie de Jong

Yeah, he's not what I expected before signing him. Thought he'd be much more involved, better passer. But been doing great lately, in a different fashion. Hope he found his role.

De Jong again closest to it

Top 5 midfielder in the world according to a certain poster.

Oh, sorry, glanced over it. Hard to say what happens next season, but I certainly hope part of the stadium will be open for fans. Even thoutgh they might do it later this season. 20% with proper measures with positive trends doesn't seem impossible. Cinemas are open in some countries, in the end.

Pandemic started in Europe about a year ago, and still hasn't ended. Every measure might be rushed before vaccination takes place. Think cases from Milano are still on everybody's mind.

Can always open certain portions of stadiums and maintain the distance. But such decisions shouldn't be rushed.

From what I've seen, 1 billion figure's net debt which already includes wages. Did I get it wrong?

Personally think it's still early for such conclusions. New board needs to see the details of the debt and options at their disposal. Barca has huge revenue not only because of history, but because of successes. Think they'll do everything before opting for a fall from the top.

They'd never hire you Koeman, tho. Would mean the end of the Koelt. :p

    Mavericky Puig

Think it's a drop in quality having Puig for Pedri. Especially since we've got midfield in form. Koeman must feel the pressure to perform.
  15. Joan

    Luis Suárez

On average yes, but the difference too small to be significant, me thinks. Barca had a good run while Suarez was injured. Might be better for the team in the long run, but doubt it is for this season's league race.

    Mavericky Puig

It's not like he's ignoring Maradona. I'd like to see Puig play more, but can see why Koeman doesn't take risks. Without it being personal, of course.

    Luis Suárez

Lazy to look twice, but Barca still had to win more points with Suarez starting than not. If my numbers add up. Anyways, it's rather close and still won more points with both him and Messi than not in the same amount of games. All silly comparisons, but won more points with both Messi and...

    Luis Suárez

Yeah, I did look at the fixtures and did the math and Barca won 42 points with both Messi and Suarez starting and 40 when not (one or both off). Also, Suarez taken off while Barca up only to lose later etc. True they weren't rested, was taking a guess. Interesting, same number of fixtures...

    Luis Suárez

Barca winning more with one of them off is not as strong as it sounds. Odd season with a break, best players resting against weak, playing strong teams etc.

    Luis Suárez

We scored 3 goals more than Atletico with a game in hand. Says it all about our attack. Lots of games could've been killed off with better finishing while opponents not threatening.
