Not quite clear why Illara and Chicharito did not get any game time in the last months. Real was on a roll and Carlo could have changed 2 or 3 players here and there.
Cristiano is invisible btw. Nowhere to be seen.
I would like to see:
Bravo - Montoya, Pique (because Mathieu is injured I think), Bartra, Alba - Masche, Xavi, Rafinha - Pedro, Messi, Neymar
Sub Ney and Leo later if possible. Rest Busi, Rakitic, Iniesta and Suarez for the Atletico game.
Real could have played him way more. Especially when they were on a roll and played lesser opponents.
Chicharito is a good striker and quite suited to Real's style. He probably would have scored some goals.
Milan bought Suso. Apparently a free deal.
Milan continues to make good moves on the market. They have some pretty decent talent in midfield and offense.
He has improved indeed. I would trust him without a doubt in games against smaller teams.
Of course he is not ready to play in a Clasico or a big CL game but Sergi should be a squad player that we can rely on.
Put him next to better teammates and Alen will produce. Take that one game when he played alongside Suarez against some youth team from Indonesia. They had so many good moments where Alen's passing set up Suarez.
Messi is also better when he got guys next to him who are willing to play quick...
1. Mathieu - Some crucial defensive plays when other defenders were beaten, very good distribution and of course his awesome free kick. Flawless performance.
2. Sergi Roberto - Controlled the midfield with quick passing moves and good movement in general. Scored our second golazo.
