I've noticed that guys from mainland Europe on here talk about salaries as the year - '20 million' or whatever. Whereas here in UK we tend to talk about wages per week. Like '400 grand a week'. It's like another metric vs imperial system cultural difference.

They probably will in the end. But as I said a few times already, the world is too Eurocentric. The top South American clubs have always caused problems for Europe's elite going all the way back to Santos with Pele and winning friendlies or exhibition games etc. It's a much different world...

Just quoting what I said today. The world is a bit Eurocentric. Yes you do get some hammerings like the Juventus game and Bayern that was against a semi-pro team, but the non Euro teams have generally been competitive. Now you can argue that European teams are tired, or struggling in the heat...
