He's been inconsistent, but he's had a few good performances recently. The club should see how he does for the rest of the season before deciding what to do with him.

Thing is, he probably won't get that much playing time in the first team. Not as much as he does in the B team anyways. Though Villa and Sanchez leaving would help, and we are a little weak on the wings. IMO, he should be given a few games this season (especially once La Liga is wrapped up)...

Vertonghen could be good. Made more sense to get him last year, but he'd probably still be cheaper than Hummels. Subotic could be a good option as well. I still think Hummels would be a good option, though he would be expensive and he is a bit similar to Pique, so Pique/Hummels might not work.

IMO, we don't need to get a Falcao or a Cavani and move Messi to RW. Keep Messi at false 9 and get someone who can score from the wing (like Villa), especially if Villa leaves. That'll reduce our dependence on Messi for goals. A striker who can score from the wing would be perfect. It would...

Maybe we could get him for depth if he's cheap. Who knows though, maybe he really is good enough to start for Barca. In which case we'd be saving quite a bit of cash if we got him.
