    Thiago Translantara

Thiago seems to be a bit of a hybrid of the 2 to me, with a bit of Ronaldinho mixed in. Anyways, he's mainly been played in the Xavi role this season, and he's done pretty well too, though he's definitely had his bad games. It definitely seems to me like Thiago's meant to be the Xavi replacement.

    Xavi Hernández

I read somewhere that he has more trophies than Chelsea :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

    Gerard Deulofeu

IMO, he shouldn't be promoted next season, but he should be given some games against the weaker sides.

    Alexis Sanchez

Depending on how he does for the rest of the season, I think we should keep him for now, since we have the money to fill our needs, as long as Villa doesn't leave. I believe we'll have a 50m transfer budget this summer, which should be enough for a CB and GK. He's shown promise lately, and we...

    Thiago Translantara

Xavi's pretty old, and I believe Thiago is supposed to be his replacement.

    Xavi Hernández

If he wins 2 more CLs, he'll have won 83% of Barca's CLs :worthy: :worthy:

    Xavi Hernández

Thiago will be a pretty capable replacement when the time comes IMO. Though no one can truly replace the legend that is Xavi. And Messi will be in his prime, not to mention Iniesta will still be playing (and I can see him still being one of the best players in the world then, just look at Xavi...

    Sergio Agüero

I was sold on Aguero a month or 2 ago, but I'm not so sure now, after a closer look at his bad season and all. It could drive his price down a bit though, but I'd still take Suarez over him.

    Mario Gotze

If he wants to be 2nd best

Barça to face PSG in the CL quarter finals

We're through if we play anything like we did in the 2nd leg. Of course, we better not play anything like we did in the 1st. Doubt that will happen, since Tito will be back and we seem to be out of the dip in form, but you never know. The real Barca (the one we saw in the 2nd leg)...

    Bojan Krkić

    Poor Niang :p

    Sergio Agüero

If Villa leaves, I'd rather get Suarez tbh, with Aguero's poor season and all. I think he'd be a bit cheaper and more realistic as well, for obvious reasons (may want CL football, lower wages, etc). Then again, Aguero might be more realistic with his poor season and all. If Villa doesn't leave...

    Rosell Interview

Barcastuff: Rosell (president): "Busquets has said he would sign Sergio Ramos...? Busquets knows a lot about football." [mundo deportivo] Looks like we've found the answer.

    Mario Gotze

Didn't he say at one point that he would like to play for Barca or something like that?
  15. darthvader7888

    Mario Gotze

Let's buy him and turn him into a winger then  Xavi-Busquets-Cesc Gotze-Messi-Iniesta :pep: With Masch and Song at CB we just need to find 2 midfielders to play in the fullback positions :pep:

    Mats Hummels

I think Subotic might be a good option. I don't know much about him, but he works well with Hummels (from what I know), and like you said, Pique is a similar player, so I'm guessing he'd work well with him as well.
  17. darthvader7888

    Martin Montoya

From what I've seen, he's pretty good offensively as well. He got himself in a great position to score an equalizer in the second leg of the super cup, and he almost scored the winner in the league clasico (from a long way out too), but it hit the bar.
  18. darthvader7888

    Gerard Piqué

Well, didn't he say that he didn't want to leave and all that? And only left because Milan needed the cash.
  19. darthvader7888

    Gerard Piqué

I'm guessing he wanted to do what was best for Milan, as they needed the cash.

    Champions League 12/13

Agree. I'd say Real are only the 5th best team left (behind Barca, Bayern, Juventus and maybe Dortmund), but they still have the best chance of knocking us out IMO.
