I think giving Montoya more playing time would be good for Alves, as it'd give him something to think about, and let him know that his starting spot isn't completely secure. Alves has been great at times recently, but he's been way too inconsistent.

Well, whatever it is that's causing him to lose form in the 2nd half of the season, it needs to be sorted out.

If Alba is fit for the PSG clash, Montoya should be started over Alves at RB IMO. Alves has been too inconsistent lately. One game he plays well, the next he plays terribly.

If Alba's out, Alexis' workrate could be useful to cover for Alves. I think Tito should start Montoya and Tello in the 2nd leg though.

Didn't Thiago's father say that he's happy at Barca? I don't see us selling him. He'll probably get more playing time next season with Xavi getting old and all. And he's gotten 26 games this season, which IMO is fairly good considering he was injured for 2 months.

I'm guessing he will either start and be subbed off at half time, or he'll be subbed on with about 30 mins to go.

I don't remember him having to do anything in the 2011 final. He did save our asses a few times in the other 2 finals though, especially the 2006 final.
