Yeah, he's great, but not perfect. A bit overrated IMO (not super overrated though, just a bit). I gotta say though, credit to him for pushing Pepe out of RM's starting lineup at the age of 19.

Yeah, I can definitely see him returning to the club. Not sure whether it'll be as a coach or president or whatever, but I can definitely see him returning at some point.

Like I said before, Pique has the talent IMO. He is world class in that aspect. His problem is that he's too inconsistent and underperforms way too often. I think getting the right CB to pair him with and perhaps 1 more CB to challenge him for that starting spot can help solve the problem.

Doesn't Muniesa have world-class potential? Not as good as Varane, but still. Something needs to be done about the injury problems though.

Eh, I'd take still take Villa over Sanchez. Especially since Villa tends to do well in big games. He wasn't in great form before the Milan game either, and he still did great.

I wouldn't say the rest of our attack is average. Villa's a great striker too. Pedro/Sanchez have been shit this season though. Agree that we are dependent on Messi though, like you said, mainly because Messi is Messi.

Well, our transfer budget's a bit higher this time and some players (Valdes, etc) will probably be sold which could make it higher still.

We also needed an LB last summer and our transfer budget was a bit lower (and our transfer budget can be higher still with a few sales, like Valdes). Besides, PSG would probably have outbid us on Silva anyway. And apparently Silva would have been earning more than anyone in the team besides...
