usual routine under Pep in an away game in the Champions League:
get one goal behind, tie and finish with 1-1. Fourth time in a row. even the fucking Champions League looks like 08/09, only the Copa is a bitch.
I'm no Ronaldo fan but I have to agree. The first penalty was already taken by Kaka so I think it would have been fairly normal to let Ronaldo have it. I mean, it would be weird if the same situation happened with Messi and Busquets for instance (i don't know anything about Busquets penalty...
I know!
I kinda like him though, not "waaaaaaaaaa wawa waaaaa canales!" but more like "yeah, he's alright alright". And as i said, I very much liked his mature approach yesterday, that can only be rewarded with respect.
Loved it? That was a bad challenge, luckyly Canales wasn't standing put on the grass or it was injury all over the place. And Canales took that very well and mature, other players would have been whining.
There were some moents in the first half where he wasn't a boy anymore, he was physically battling some Santander players.
It will never be a Drogba of course, but he was fighting and he even won I believe. Usually he would go into the duel and just lose. :D
I rather have a player celebrating his goal with someone on the bench than alone on the pitch. Thiago jumped right into Maxwell's arms and then celebrated first with the group, then to JDS.
Nothing serious of course, just a small reminder. Like Pedro and Tenerife.
I would even say it was a bet...
