I was listening in on a conversation about football today on the bus and this guy, I think he was a Man Utd fan, was practically drooling over Xavi (and Iniesta). I couldn't help but smile. At last those two are starting to get the attention they deserve from footie fans around the world.

It's quite funny/sweet how this young Argentinian was so befriended by all of the Brazilian Barca players.

This season is like deja vu. Eto'o races out in front, leads the scoring almost all season, only to get caught up in the last couple of weeks. It could even be Forlan who nicks it from him again!

I agree that he's the best player in the world and I'm very glad that he's playing for us. But other players such as Iniesta, Xavi, Alves, Henry, Puyol, Pique, Toure...etc. deserve credit for their performances this season as well.

I voted no. The Sevilla game showed that we can play and win well, without Messi. We are hardly a 1 man team.
