Obviously any players toughest game is when he faces a bus. Sometimes messi won't be able to break a team down. But messi is the best player at facing them, and has broken many tough defences in his time.

Good point. Let's see how good he is when he plays a team that isn't end to end like Stoke and plays with a deep and organised defence with no spaces to run into. Only the truly great players perform against buses.

It's more of a mentality thing for the team for me. Everyone should start and be focused/ready to train exactly when it is scheduled. I don't know exactly what happened but if players are being a little casual it will leak into the actual training and ultimately onto the pitch.

Watching the arsenal game, and I have to say as bad as Barca are right now it's still better than arsenal, who are in decent form by their standards. they completely lack any edge offensively and defensively.

I think bravo has been a good and needed signing. Also at the time rakitic and Mathieu were seen as good ideas by some people (I wasn't so keen on rakitic but thought Mathieu was good) and tbh rakitic can still come good, Mathieu is still a solid backup aswell. Who knows, Cuadrado is perfect...

Tbh it's only his final ball that needs work, just get his head up and get those low crosses in. Also lahm is miles ahead if every other fullback when he plays there. He is two levels above the next player.

He is clueless with his final ball, but is still good position ally and in his run timing. His defending is the same as always not terrible but not great either.

If you think about it, if you were to make up a mythical player who is the perfect striker for Atleti, he would be practically identical to Suarez.
