What objectives ? Another embarrassing CL exit? :mou:

    Ernesto Valverde

This shitshow won’t end soon. Valverde is unsackable. He didn’t get sacked after Liverpool and Valencia in May. I doubt they would do anything now. It will take a string of extraordinarily bad results for the board to do anything about him. We’ll continue to lose some games here and there but...

    Ernesto Valverde

Individual quality can only take you so far. You need the right tactics to win these games. Valgreen is clueless about how we should be creating opportunities in attack. The team is clueless in the final third, we’re not looking to create any numerical overloads. It’s the same boring buildup...

CL | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Slavia Prague 0-0

The English commentator on my stream summed it up nicely. ‘The team has lots of talent but is tactically imbalanced.’

    Ernesto Valverde

Even if we won yesterday and gone clear at the top, you still can't help but think we will fall apart at the end of the season. Just like last season. That's the Valverde effect. There a number of factors that led to that happening last season and it seems like he still hasn't learn't from...

    Sylvinho

Don't think he was ready for that level. He had a chance to coach Brazil u23, that would have been the better option.

    La Liga 2019/20

He should have gone for Icardi instead.

We will probably win the Clasico and start the new year in first place. Rakitic will end up staying in January due to club de amigos power. Spirits will be high until the inevitable meltdown in the CL semis. It will be downhill from there again.

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

This entitled club de amigos group needs to be broken up at the end of this season. These guys think they're invincible when in reality most of them are in the twilight of their careers. Realistically, the end of this season or next season should be the last for Pique, Suarez, Vidal, Busquets...

    Manchester United

Exactly. Bad decision making can take a club from title contenders to a laughing stock really quick.

I enjoyed the Sevilla game but I'm not getting too carried away especially with the way we fell apart at the end of last season. We literally swerved off a cliff. Let's just see how things go. Looking forward to seeing more of Fati, Todibo and Firpo.

Nothing wrong with individual brilliance but we rely too heavily on moments of magic from Messi (see 2nd goal) to create anything meaningful. So when he's missing we look flat and lost in the attacking third.

CL | Round 2: FC Barcelona - Inter Milan 2-1

Looked at the game and my main impression was how disjointed we looked in defence and attack. Pique, Lenglet and Busi are huge liabilities against a team like Inter that can launch rapid counters with their pacey strikers. It's suicide to play a high line with those guys as the deepest players...

    Nelson Semedo

Good game from him especially defensively. Seemed like the only one capable of keeping up with Lautaro Martinez and Alexis.

    Ernesto Valverde

The 3 points were badly needed but I'm still not convinced by this performance. With the players available to Valverde, this team is still playing way below the capable potential IMO.

Lliga | Round 6: FC Barcelona - Villarreal CF 2-1

Messi to save Valverde again. 4-0

Lliga | Round 6: FC Barcelona - Villarreal CF 2-1

Valladolid already 1-0 up against the mighty Granada inside 10 minutes. The same team we couldn't get shots against.

Lliga | Round 6: FC Barcelona - Villarreal CF 2-1

If we lose this game he's done for sure.
