It would be difficult because Pique/Mascherano compliment each other nicely. And Mascherano has that Puyol-esque grit/whatever that we need to balance out the sexiness of Pique.

TS is definitely better than Puyol as an individual (although he wouldn't replace other things that Puyol brings to the Barca team). Him and Pique is pretty close although TS has been in better form for the last 12 months or so imo.

It's not something I can really quantify. He just seems like a dick :lol: He's a great talent, no question, but he seems the sort that will just fade away in a few years. I don't think he's a next level talent like Rafinha, Grimaldo, etc.

It's not purely about performance though. It's not purely about any one thing. I don't think Gomez achieved enough with his team in 2011 to be top 10. He could be top 20-25 though.
