    Where are you from?

Born in Bath, live in the town of Chippenham, Wiltshire, in England.

    Jesús Navas

I thought he'd have been Moorish, seen as sooo many people have his kind of look in that part of Spain, apart from the eyes lol. Brilliant player though. He's supposed to be working hard on his anxiety thing to give himself a chance with Spain. Hopefully he can overcome it. Bit of a Trescothick...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Benzema fucked up that great chance in the first half, was totally against the run of play and would have a been a big blow to Sevilla. He's always bloody slow! I always thought he was quick enough, not lightening but not a slouch either. I know Higuain hasn't set the world alight but I'd still...

La Liga XI vs EPL XI

Each to their own Meta, I just personally have never been that impressed with him. I'll keep an eye on him over the next few weeks and see if my opinion changes, but until then I will disagree with you :p

La Liga XI vs EPL XI

I don't feel there's much difference tbh. And Lass is a far better all round footballer.

La Liga XI vs EPL XI

I think Yaya is awesome. Up there with the best in his position these days, really became dominant for us last season. Only positioning now and then can catch him out. I know you seem to love him Meta but personally I don't think M Diarra (Djila right?) is that amazing. Always felt he was...

    State of La Liga

It's such a hollow debate, as teams are built and developed on the style of their own league. You put most of the Prem teams in La Liga and the big, cumbersome defenders will get rings run round them. If you consider Vidic, one of the best CB's in the league, his main weakness are nippy players...

    Stevan Jovetić

The 2nd goal was actually a good finish, was fired across at pace and he just guided it in, very well taken.

    Eric Abidal

Yeh Maxwell has started poorly but Abidal is really playing well right now. Last 2-3 games he's been excellent. Solid defensively and a bit more composed on the ball. We don't need him to bomb forward like Dani, just to provide an option on the left, which he's doing well.

    5 - Carles Puyol

Yeh Puyol was exceptional last night, classic dominating performance from him, brilliant to see.

    Jeffren Suarez

He does actually look like him a little bit as well

    State of La Liga

I'd agree with that. The Torres goalscoring records prove nothing. As we've already said it isn't just about goals. Most of those are at Anfield and against awkward teams with men back Drogba is far more effective.
  14. Cal-FCB

    Pedro Rodriguez

I'm sure that'll help a little club like that a huge amount. Pedro was impressive again last night, he's improving really well. I had my doubts before about whether he could learn to use his quick feet and pace effectively, but he's certainly won me over this season. Took his goal brilliantly...

    Jeffren Suarez

Wasted a good chance in last night's game, although he wasn't on for that long. Personally I don't think he's going to be good enough. Pedro has great technical ability but his decision making has improved leaps and bounds and he's far more effective.

    State of La Liga

I only mentioned Torres because his name seems to always pop up when people mention complete player

    State of La Liga

And it's not like Valencia have been getting to the SF of the CL in the last few years. Last time he would have played competitively against and English club were the Chelsea games a couple years ago no? This idea of a 'complete player' and someone straight away brings up heading ability is...

    Champions league 09-10

It'd be a massive shame if he missed out on making his mark in a WC. Something every player dreams of.

    Champions league 09-10

Lol nah not ignorant at all, I thought maybe the commentator had called Konko "Navas" or something  maybe he's been sat out in the sun lately, he's normally fairly tanned but not black!

What you mean? No he's not black, why do you think that? :hmmm:
