    Erling Haaland

Now watch Laporta chase another ?star? which doesn?t even exist on the market for us :coffee:

    Frenkie de Jong

Poor finishing but I'm extremely happy with him. Huge improvement compared to his showings earlier this season.

    Memphis Depay

Barca of all clubs should know what a reliable pen taker is worth.

    6 - Gavi

We might have a problem with finding a position for him in our current setup. He's not any good as a LW, more so since we have better players in that role who contribute right away. Namely Torres and Depay. To make things worse, he's too good to be left out, and doesn't seem to excel on the...

    4 - Ronald Araújo

In my opinion, it's a priority to extend his contract. Barca already has to replace one starting CB and might do it with Christiansen, letting Araujo go would be a huge blow. His next contract will be a big one, partly to compensate for the time he's been on the B team pay list. I hope it's...

    7 - Ferran Torres

Why is it always you to complain about that?

    Adama Traore

Useful player who makes things happen as soon as he’s on the pitch. Hit and miss but plenty of excitement and also works hard. One to keep.

    7 - Ferran Torres

Ferran is a huge improvement over Gavi in that role. Makes the team better, more fluid, has great movement and instinct for getting into chances but also helps purposefully circulate the ball in the final third. Currently, he’s our best option in that role and noone else should be preferred...

    Erling Haaland

They’re using Real and City to squeeze Barca for more money :coffee:

    Erling Haaland

But we have a plan how to deal with his injuries :(

    Xavi Hernández

Most new generations these days manage to outdo their idols. I expect Mbappe (and Haaland if he stays fit) to score as much as Leo and Ronnie did. If not more.

    Erling Haaland

While we don’t see eye to eye regarding Haaland’s transfer, it’s generally true what you’re saying. Laporta doesn’t rely on sporting department to do his squad planning and pick major targets, he instead seems to do it by himself or listens to his coach. That’s not the way these things should be...

    Self aware at least ;)

    Erling Haaland

Even if true (which might be based on a very limited sequence of matches Auba played for us), the question is how long it lasts. Auba could very well not be the same player next season, with his legs suddenly gone. Haaland is a risky investment but a high profit one. In more ways, not only...

    15 - Andreas Christensen

Christensen is a talented player, he?s even faster than he looks. My main concern is that I?ve only seen him play well in a 3 man defence. Not saying he hasn?t performed in a 4 at the back setup but I haven?t seen it. He could be an improvement over anybody if he adapts. Maybe not Araujo but close.

    Erling Haaland

While true Raiola doesn?t have a say, his influence will likely be crucial. Players don?t hire agents that big to ignore their suggestions. If Raiola sees Barca as the best option for Haaland and tries to talk him into it, while no guarantee, it?s the closest one can get to it.

    15 - Andreas Christensen

That?s the right approach. We severely lack cb options that are any good.

    Mavericky Puig

I also agree that the article is at least somewhat off. But it's understandable Catalan media want to save their face after simping for Puig for years. Puig's problem has to do with quality, or lack thereof. In more plain, familiar words: Catalan media wants us to think he's a fraud, while he's...
