    Premier League 2018/19

Classic City. Dominate the game and still drop points somehow. No surprise Pep keeps floundering in the CL.

    Kevin De Bruyne

Best midfielder in the world by some distance. De Jong can't lace his boots yet. If he can stay fit this season and performs for City the CL and Belgium in the Euros he should get some Ballon D'or consideration. His top level is ridiculous.

    Premier League 2018/19

KDB best midfielder in the world.

    Jordi Alba

Firpo?:lol::lol: What a load of rubbish. Grass isn't always greener on the other side. Especially when you've been spoiled by a player that is the best in his position and have to resort to nitpicking his every fault as he ages. Alba has his flaws and isn't always consistent, but he is...

    Neymar Jr.

Players going the other way isn't very realistic now with Coutinho gone to Bayern. Rakitic and Dembele won't leave. Only option now is a loan + mandatory purchase clause next summer. I would do a 60m loan for this season + a mandatory 120m purchase clause in summer 2020 without hesitation...

    Frenkie de Jong

Had a rather average performance. Still probably the best midfielder in the squad and the lad has enormous potential, but the hype he had going based off a few pre-season performances was ridiculous. This performance should bring some of the more impressionable fantasist Cruyffistas back to...

    Philippe Coutinho

Official: Coutinho joins FC Bayern on a 1 year loan with an option to buy 1162483189702696960

    Antoine Griezmann

Not a winger. Not a true striker either. Early days still and I believe in his technical qualities, but he could very easily become another Coutinho-esque outcast looking lost with no defined role in the team.

    Ousmane Dembélé

His acceleration from standstill is absolutely woeful. One of the many reasons he is so shite against buses. He needs 2-3 long strides to get going. Hope he teams up with Adama at Wolves playing counters in the PL. Anywhere but here.

    Neymar Jr.

Buy ASAP, don't care what price. Like Dembele and Semedo are actually bringing anything significantly useful to this team.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Feck off will ya. Football illiterate sprinters with little to no understanding of the fundamentals of football have no place at F.C. Barcelona. I couldn't be arsed about some solo-goal or assist every 10 games. Got a bird brain and is Bambi on ice to boot. Get out of my club.

Lliga | Round 1: Athletic Bilbao - FC Barcelona 1-0

:lol::lol: Muppets earlier in this thread were having a meltdown about the squad list only for EV to play the forum's ideal XI. Masterclass.

    Philippe Coutinho

True, but Bayern is the only viable option left with the English window closed. Nothing out about the fee yet, but can't imagine it being too high. What other option does the club have? Letting him rot on the bench here for another season and selling him for 40m next summer?

    Philippe Coutinho

Since we can't agree with PSG on a Neymar swap deal this is the only option left. No guarantee he will be good at Bayern, but we get the lad's massive wages off the books and he gets a fresh start at the very least.

Lliga | Round 1: Athletic Bilbao - FC Barcelona 1-0

Reading too much into this mate. He won't start no matter what tonight and it has nothing to do with his transfer status. He is not match fit and Dembele is currently ahead of him.

Lliga | Round 1: Athletic Bilbao - FC Barcelona 1-0

Not possible for a Barca manager in the current year to have a long-term plan without getting sacked halfway through the season. The club was already at rock bottom when Pep came in. He also had the luxuxy of having all-time talents like Xavi, Iniesta, Alves and Messi entering their primes...

    Ernesto Valverde

Not sure about that, but I think the gaffer will surprise a lot of fans with the style he gets the team playing this season. The squad was terrible in his first season and we played terrible football accordingly. In fact I'd say it was mighty impressive how well he steered a team on the verge...

1161645921014308864 :lol::lol: Barto won't be travelling to the ECA meeting in Liverpool on Friday. The local rags have been building up this possible meeting between Bartomeu and Al-Khelaifi for weeks now. Load of bollocks as usual.
