Under Rijkaard, we had weak opponents in the round of 16 and the QF. Under Tito, we had quite a bit of luck against PSG. We got owned in the first leg against Milan as well. We got to the semis under all 3 coaches but our CL performances were vastly different.

It's not just about the players. It's about the coaches, tactics, etc as well.

I can see Roberto being helpful in the away leg. Roberto-Busquets-Xavi/Iniesta/Cesc. Kind of like how we used Keita under Pep. It's unlikely to happen (not to mention there's a good chance it won't work) for obvious reasons, but it's just a thought. I'm not really saying that we should play him...

We weren't really favorites against them, and we were in much worse form then than we are now. But I agree, even though we are favorites, it's definitely gonna be tough for us.

Sanchez has had a great season no doubt, but I'd still say Aguero's had a better one. He's the PL's 2nd top scorer.

I still doubt he'd pick Gladbach over us.
