I would love Barca to sign Gotze. But he's not really needed. He's too much a midfielder, we have them in La Masia. If we're making a big signing, it should be more of a forward.

Yup. But even if RM did bid 250m for Messi (which is obviously absurd), it would be considered a hostile bid and incur tax on top of the 250m. So it'd be over 300m in all likelihood.

Probably because Spanish release clauses only apply for Spanish teams. Thus a response to a bid from any team outside of one of 250m from Real Madrid/Malaga would be: "lol"
