Interesting. Could be worth a shot, but I'd still go for someone that coaches (or has coached) a better, bigger team. Like maybe Roberto Martinez or Valverde. They're more likely to be able to handle the pressure that comes with coaching a big team like Barca.

His team (Rayo) have been pretty shit this season though. 5 points from relegation, and I remember them being last at one point.

How about Abidal type RB? Alba/new RB to be the new Alves/Abidal. One offensive, one defensive. Alves is the one that needs to be benched. He's clearly declined, and he's not getting any younger.

Agree. Tata's an ok coach and has his strong points, but he's not what we need. He lacks a lot of things we really need, like balls, motivational skills, etc.
