He will start against Real Madrid tomorrow. I would also prefer it if David Villa started as well, which I think he will. Both of them on the field I think suit Barcelona more, as much as I like Cesc and as great a player he is, he still hasn't fully thrived in our system.

It's actually ridiculous because no other player is attempting to make a run, it happened throughout the whole game that when somebody was forward, nobody was ahead of him to receive a good pass.

I agree, it's best for both parties, with Xavi out it leaves more room for Thiago to get called up more often and become a more established member of the NT. Meaning Thiago can get more experience and improve as a player while Xavi can be more relaxed in one team with Barcelona.

Only thing is I don't think that would work because it'd mean virtually no defensive workrate in our attacking line up
