Xavi has no idea how to get the best out of his players so the fans just throw them under the bus as duds. Jam had a good post about it before regarding Raphinha and Ferran. Xavi asks them to keep width and 1v1 fullbacks when it's clearly not suited to their game.

I agree but this doesn't work at Barca. The club politics and delusion enforce that the 'Barca way' is the only way hence why we don't recruit outside the club often. If we bring in a different manager and he changes the formation/more defensive, the fans and media will cry bloody murder...
