Agreed. Our front line is the last thing we should be worried about. We should concentrate more on defense and midfield. I'd only sell Alexis to get someone better like Suarez or Reus. And I'd only do that AFTER solving the problems in defense and midfield.

Moving Masch back to CDM would be perfect for that. He's a way better DM than Song.

In Xavi's role? Either sell Cesc, or keep Rafinha on loan. I don't think either is the answer to our issue with Xavi's position.

That transfer window would be decent. Though I'd buy another midfielder. Cesc can't play in Xavi's position, and I'm not sure Rafinha's ready, because we're gonna have to cut Xavi's playing time significantly. But who knows, maybe Enrique will be able to make a Cesc/Iniesta midfield work.
