I saw Munir play in the UEFA Youth league. You don't lose talent like that plus he works hard on a pitch meaning he has the right attitude. Those 2 combined with a good football IQ is a 90% chance of success. The other 10% is dependent on your luck and fitness (case in point Cuenca).

It wasn't surprising at all. Watching machines like Dani Alves has made people criminally underestimate the sheer stamina that is required to run up and down the flanks for 90 mins on end. Young Matheiu had the stamina to do this and he was a very good LB. Mathieu right now is not 26 years old...
