Rooney even at his best cannot touch the true great strikers in the world. The likes of Villa, Eto'o, Torres, Drogba, are all better than him. I won't even mention him next to Messi.

Torres presence is drawing alot of defensive attention thus allowing our other attackers to work the spaces. But he does need to start finishing those chances. Its key... All of Ramos, Puyol, Torres, had chances to score and didn't do so. There's no excuses now... If Spain are to go far...

Always felt he was overrated. I don't think he's going to turn out quite the way the Madrid fans are thinking he will for them.

Torres and Villa are both top 5 to me when they're at their best. But El Nino and El Guaje are different in terms of style. Villa is the more technical guy who relies on his skill and smart runs into space whereas Torres is the big target guy who's strong in the air and can beat the defenders...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Fernando Torres. I just have a feeling that he's carrying a fire inside feeling he's got something to prove plus coming back from an injury. Villa's presence will help him alot of course.
