I think that with his current form,Messi is probably top 3-5 in the world. Sometimes he is overrated in the past couple seasons,but he is still great. Just not undisputable best anymore. And if you think about it really,it's been the same the last 4-5 years or so,with the exception of 2019.

Great post,I agree with most things you said. Maybe Cesc was a wrong "Galactico-like" transfer by Rossell,but Pep admittedly had a history of bad transfers with us,so I don't rule out the possibility of him wanting us to evolve in a 3-4-3 system with 2 false 9s.
