He was never an elite CAM. If you think he’s benching Pedri you are once again showing you have no clue about football. Even Prime Rakitic is not able to do 40% of the stuff Pedri does on the ball. He was a great long passer (Pedri is too) and shooter, but under pressure he was often a liability.

He is. Only Dembele (who is not a RW these days), Yamal and Salah (who is a G+A merchant at this point) are better as right wingers. Saka is not exciting to watch but he is incredibly strong on his feet, has a good shot and makes the right decision in attack 90%-95% of the time

Arsenal just lack attacking quality. Martinelli and Trossard are not elite players. They are still midtable EPL level players. Merino, as a striker, is decent but not a natural threat. Only Saka is world-class in that front three. They need some serious acquisitions.
