I agree. But their hard work is a great advantage nevertheless. Out of the European elite, they have the most youthful and energetic side. This is of crucial importance in high-intensity games such as the CL knockouts. Liverpool will be a formidable opponent if we make it past ManU.

Agree 100% We don't have to win against Atletico. A draw is more than fine. The game we need to approach with 1000% intensity is the CL game against United. La Liga is more than manageable.

I remember a 3-3 against Villarreal back in 08/09. But I sure as hell can't recall a 4-4 in the last 10 years for sure.

Trying to find a silver lining here, but yes, I tend to agree. The worst defeats, especially for Barca, usually come after a run of great results that make us over-confident.

This is all of course in hindsight, but yes, I fully agree. The point here however, is that Argentina NT has been nothing but ballast for Messi. Has been since Day 1.

Regardless of whether the injury is serious or not, this was an incredibly stupid decision by both Messi and the club.

It's the truth that most football fans and pundits refuse to acknowledge. The "muh-manager" approach in analyzing football cannot stand any test of logic one may choose to apply. You either have good players able to play with intensity, or you don't. The rest is mostly noise and deflection.

I agree. Juventus will need a complete make over within the next years for sure. They will have to replace tons of players.
