Lliga | Round 31: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 2-0

Stupid not to rotate. The past 3 seasons, our CL aspirations were destroyed at the QF away games. Would be moronic to risk that happening again.

    Premier League 2018/19

I agree with everything you say, except the excessive emphasis on who the coach is. But I will have to stress Liverpool's youthfulness once more. A somewhat ageing team, such as ours, cannot ever hope to match Liverpool's intensity, especially over a span of games. Even in a two-legged tie...

    Premier League 2018/19

I agree. But their hard work is a great advantage nevertheless. Out of the European elite, they have the most youthful and energetic side. This is of crucial importance in high-intensity games such as the CL knockouts. Liverpool will be a formidable opponent if we make it past ManU.

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

03/04 Made it to the last 16, lost to Arsenal.

    Luis Suárez

From the standard camera angle, it looked as if the ball skidded on the grass once or twice. From the rear angle, it's clear that the ball only touched the ground well after it passed the goal-line. An unbelievable strike! On par with his Getafe goal from earlier in the season and one of his...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

What happened in the second Villarreal goal, was that Toko meant to cross, but got himself a little too behind the ball. If you watch the close-up shot in slow-motion, it is clear that he was overstretching just to make any kind of contact with the ball. This resulted in the funny trajectory...

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

But the real reward that Messi deserves, is the CL.

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

Agree 100% We don't have to win against Atletico. A draw is more than fine. The game we need to approach with 1000% intensity is the CL game against United. La Liga is more than manageable.

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

[/B] I agree 100%. I was telling a friend of mine today, that it would be better if we go full out against Villarreal, get the 3 points, maintain the 10 point advantage over Atleti, then rotate against Atleti, and therefore be as fresh as possible against ManU. Now, we have to go all out...

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

I remember a 3-3 against Villarreal back in 08/09. But I sure as hell can't recall a 4-4 in the last 10 years for sure.

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

Trying to find a silver lining here, but yes, I tend to agree. The worst defeats, especially for Barca, usually come after a run of great results that make us over-confident.

    Lliga | Round 30: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 4-4

Humiliation! One of the worst Barca games in at least a decade.

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

This is all of course in hindsight, but yes, I fully agree. The point here however, is that Argentina NT has been nothing but ballast for Messi. Has been since Day 1.

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

Regardless of whether the injury is serious or not, this was an incredibly stupid decision by both Messi and the club.

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

Argentina are nothing but trouble from our point of view. Messi should have left them in the cold ages ago.

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

It's the truth that most football fans and pundits refuse to acknowledge. The "muh-manager" approach in analyzing football cannot stand any test of logic one may choose to apply. You either have good players able to play with intensity, or you don't. The rest is mostly noise and deflection.

    Matthijs de Ligt

I agree. Juventus will need a complete make over within the next years for sure. They will have to replace tons of players.
