He's terrible on the ball and slow as fuck but tbf to him he was a 4m filler. The onus is not on him to be some kind of world class DM, because he would've cost an arm a leg if that was the case. It's on Xavi to see it and adjust.

He's so static and weak that i feel we could do better with someone like Giroud instead of him. He gets bodied by everyone and their dog, a classic strong number 9 would hold the fucking ball at least since Xavi can't coach anything else it seems.

A lot of teams have motivation and fight mate, it's not enough. We'll see how we fare in LL and CL but fair to say if he doesn't win at least one of them he should be history.
