    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Lost the ball more than we're accustomed to seeing, especially around the box. He definitely looked better in the 2nd half, though.

    Xavi Hernández

Not vintage Xavi by any means but helped keep the attack flowing and didn't slow it down. That's all we can ask at this point.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Good performance. Excellent link up and keeping of possession for the most part. Lagged a bit in his final minutes but he's played a lot recently.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Meh. I'm honestly over this whole goal scoring race between them. Sure it's fun at times but I care more about winning La Liga or CL. Ronaldo can score 100 goals for all I care and it still doesn't mean he's a better player than Messi. Sure Ronaldo is awesome in his own right but I'd take the...

    Cesc Fàbregas

The criticism I've heard is that Cesc loses the ball and slows down our attack. I've seen that countless times here... Not saying it hasn't been true at times, but for a long while now, Xavi has been losing the ball a lot and not keeping up the attacking rhythm instead settling for sideways...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Yep. It's been clear for a while that Cesc is ready for the mantle. Those through balls and one touch passes today plus how he kept possession is what we need if were gonna win titles this year.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Which really is a shame. I'm sorry guys but we are just not scoring with Xavi on the pitch. He's too safe now at his age and he just passes sideways and back now.
  8. Armando929

    Cesc Fàbregas

Every touch so far has been brilliant in this game. With this form, Cesc must start in the CL.

    Adriano Correia Claro

Golazo. Great angle on that shot.
  10. Armando929

    Andrés Iniesta

He's looked more himself recently. Hopefully he saves his best for the big games.

    Alexis Sanchez

Jugadorazo is having the season of his life I'd say. All that criticism(And some was deserved) and he's definitely silenced a lot of doubters. Sometimes he drifts in and out of games but his workrate is off the charts.

    David Villa

I saw the whole complete version and it was a great interview. He's not having a bad season either. 11 goals and 3 assists in 22 games. Hope to see him in Brazil.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I find the criticism exaggerated as well. The problem with Messi is that he's put up unheard of numbers in the past 4 years and any dip in form or production will have the anti Barca fans jumping for joy and saying unfounded things. He's been running full steam since the 2007-2008 season and...

    Cesc Fàbregas

I think he looked better than everyone else. In fact, he created a couple of chances that on other days would have been buried. I think he's clearly been our best player this first half of the season.

    Diego Costa

What a goal. Comes on and score a a bicycle kick. Gotta love it.
  16. Armando929

    Cesc Fàbregas

I think he seen our overall best player this season so far. Hope he can keep a good level the rest of the way.
  17. Armando929

    David Villa

Two clinical finishes today. Atleti crushed Getafe.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Messi will have to be rotated now. Otherwise the wear and tear will continue and his injuries will be more frequent and WORSE. The body can only take so much. The problem we have is that nobody can play the false number 9 role. He patented that position. We'd have to consider buying a...

Looks like its a muscle injury.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I guess I've just always had the feeling that the way he's always playing 90 min. never coming off plus the international games last season really took a toll on him. Maybe I'm wrong. But now it seems he's always injured not since Pep being here has Messi seen this many injuries.
