I think Casado would have been a better option to pair with either of Pedri or Frenkie against Rayo since neither aren't necessarily good in duels. We couldn't match Rayo's intensity in midfield. There were lots of times where Frenkie and Pedri were both caught high up or just too weak leaving...

Not surprised by this given how Gung ho and suicidal we play at times. Rayo had loads of space anytime they were on the ball.

To be fair to Flick, Olmo and Raphinha were dreadful. If Olmo puts away his chance and Raphinha squares the ball to Ferran we would be having a different convo.
