Pele only won the World Cup twice.... he got injured at the start of one of his World Cup wins. In the 1958 World Cup, he wasn't even the top scorer... or close to the top scorer. In the 1970 World Cup, he played with arguably the best team of all time. Pele is undoubtedly a legend and one of...
Those PSG fans really are bitches. Talking about not celebrating Messi's World Cup win. Saying the club shouldn't do a presentation for Messi at home because he beat France.
Messi should say fuck them and sign for Man City in the summer and win the Champions League next season against PSG.
They do seem to step up against the bigger sides. The Netherlands will just sit back and try to counter-attack.
They do need to play better from the start. They only start playing in the 2nd half.
Also, I think Argentina will play much better against the Netherlands if I'm being honest.
They actually played great in the 2nd half, and should have won by 3 or 4 goals, but Martinez missed too many chances.
That would have been highway robbery if Australia got that to 2-2. They were terrible for 76 minutes and got a big deflected goal, which changed the game.
Martinez should never start again. He's low on confidence and can't finish a clearcut chance.
How the hell is he a choker if he just scored a vital goal against Mexico? He's had a number of games where he's bailed his teams. Heck, Argentina wouldn't have made the 2018 World Cup if it weren't for Messi.
Portugal doesn't look great at the back at all. If Uruguay could finish, they would have been down by 3..... and they conceded 2 against a poor Ghana team.
And that penalty is a joke decision.
That's what happens when you have a midfield. They looked a lot better on the ball and scored 2 good goals.
I fully expect they'll be much better against Poland. Poland looked very poor at the back, and their midfield doesn't press and is very slow.
