    Xavi Hernández

Didn't really create much. Cesc and Andres created more chances and looked more dangerous for me. Xavi has his moments but he mostly just passes sideways and backwards now because he doesn't wanna lose the ball. Playing safe won't win us anything.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Good game. Not his very best but was involved throughout. Would hve been great if he scored on that pass to bury it but we won anyway.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

    Came through in the clutch.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

This is rapidly turning into the new Villa thread.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ibra is the all around better player. Suarez is more of a pure goal getter, though.

    Alexis Sanchez

    I'd sell Pedro before Alexis.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Xavi and Busquets were both worse today.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Nobody offered much movement up top. And he didn't exactly have much help from Xavi and Busquets. Cesc has been our best player this season so it's hard to criticize him.

    Sergio Busquets

He's been substandard all season and even last season he wasn't that good overall. Has been losing his composure alot when pressed and he's been misplacing passes like crazy.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

He was bad but this singling out of players is not looking at the big picture. It starts with the coach and the tactics. We have become too predictable. Our midfield was not able to control the game and Busquets consistently bad passing and giveaways was one major issue. The opponents know...

    Andrés Iniesta

Was really worried about him at the beginning of the season... Now he's taken his game up to another level. Him and Cesc have really been amazing together.

    Xavi Hernández

He looked really good. Some nice passes plus the golazo. I appreciate it a lot since he's not always in this form anymore

    Diego Costa

Eto'o can still be useful if he's given good opportunities to score. If Costa was to leave, Eto'o would make a pretty good partnership with Villa.

    Xavi Hernández

Xavi's decline has been evident for a while now and many have not wanted to accept it. It's not 2009 anymore and people have refuse to let it go. There is no Xavi clone. Our style will evolve. It's passed due time for Cesc to step in and partner Iniesta. This season has shown that. I just...

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

I will admit that Messi doesn't track back as much as he used to. During Pep's days, he pressured defenders more along with Pedro and Villa. For the past couple of seasons he's done it less but he will still do it. Overall though, I think Messi is more WILLING for the most part to create...

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

I don't deny Ibra's winning mentality. We have to definitely give him that. The only thing is, I'm not so sure Real would have suited Ibra stylistically even if try would have tried. Those guys on Real are either just super quick and athletic or bullies which is why that cheating fouling style...

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

See Im not so sure... None of those teams in the French League really impress me as much as the likes of Barca, Real, or Atletico. Hell, I think even the midtable teams in La Liga are better than the midtable teams in France. The quality of football played is just on another level for me...

    Andrés Iniesta

Messi has that burst of speed that separates him from everyone. Messi can dribble at full speed and the ball still doesn't leave his feet. That's just uncanny. Iniesta on the other hand is really good at slowing it down, and then with a subtle touch ghosting past his defenders. If there...

    Cesc Fàbregas

He was all over the pitch today. He played deep, then he went up top rotating with Messi and Iniesta. I think we need to start trusting him more in the deep lying role. He's worthy of the mantle.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

In all fairness Ronaldo plays in a more competitive league. I doubt he'd have much trouble shooting PSG to the top if he was the one there. Meanwhile, I'm not so sure Ibra would play as well for Madrid as CR7.
