Neymar would definitely be a huge boost to our attacking play, I would love to see Neymar/Messi/Deulofeu, although I suppose that Sanchez is more likely at this stage.

If this is the case -- either RM offered this before, or it was last-minute offer. So odd.

Doesn't make sense -- as he could have gone to RM already (seeing that their offer is higher than ours). So I am sure he wasn't interested in them to start with.

He arrived at the stadium, so he'll be checking the offers -- so I would say within an hour.

Exactly, this is what I am happy about too. Also, if we'd manage to keep the transfer fee on an acceptable level -- it will relieve some of the pressure related to his transfer.

Let's pray and hope we are lucky and that this whole saga really ENDS today/tomorrow. Then we are at least assured the WHOLE transfer period we'd look for adequate and much needed replacement in defense (+GK).

Actually it has something to do with the other investment group. Barcelona seem to have settled a deal with them to pay them in 2014, and thus only paying Santos in this transfer window. I believe I read this on Estadao.

Yeah this whole transfer sage is just plain lame. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes this summer after all. I hope all of this is done for now though.
