    Champions League

Bayern beat spurs twice - that is OK. They got 18 points out of 18 so they are super consistent - they have young hungry players knabri, gorezka, and notorious scorer like lewa - the mood is good and the trainer ok. I think there is something developing - they might focus less on the buli but on...

    Champions League

some of the recent results have shown that everyone (Salzburg vs. Pool! twice) can beat any other team, given a good day, and lucky game development. however I do see 3 groups: top tier: Pool, PSG, Bayern, Juve, tier2 Barca, Madrid, city, spurs, rest: ....

    Arthur

I remember in an old Arnold S. book (joe weider), about bodybuilding when he talked about training and alkohol. He said 2 things I will never forget. 1. training consits of three elements all equally important a. in the gym give everything, b. sleep and rest in- and ex-tensive c. nutritions...

    Adrien Rabiot

this "test" has some serious issues, at best it shows how players were socialized helping in the kitchen and how they perform under stress. interpreting values into this is a misuse of incomplete data. it takes way more behavioural datapoints, not just this one test. :) I pretty sure this...

    Video Documentary Matchday

well, on the other hand - there was once a clip of zidane in the locker room talking to the team in Htime. the complexity of his talk was also very low. communicationwise this makes sense: a room full of tired, frustrated men, you can not start developing complex new behavioural patterns, this...

    Video Documentary Matchday

lets hope Suarez had successful sex on the 18th March this year ;-) IDK, what WE collectively knew/thought. Knowing the real, true personality from a brushed documentary always difficult, they make him look defenitly better, but nothing I saw, was a complete surprise, direction wise, ... yes...

    Champions League

Dortmund BVB was so lucky in this CL season to advance... who could have thought that Inter does not win against "Barca B" at home ? Crazy... plus Slavia had 100% chances to score, where the ball was almost over the line and they didnt do it...

    Jean-Clair Todibo

given the amount of games liga, copa, CL and on the other hand yellowcards rule, and our defender line age, I do see chances he gets playtime.

    Neymar Jr.

Neys passing is amazing. :worthy: I wish barca had such also a combo- but messi+dembele, it is not the same!

    Video Documentary Matchday

;) Dont forget it is a full season they shadowed everyone  so those 2 tactical sentences ("You hold position!" "Play faster!") might be an exception. But, I didnot hear the infamous tactical masterpiece "Give the ball to Messi" yet. Must have been developed later in the series. yes...

    Neymar Jr.

I agree - while Neymar has the ability to generate chances from midfield (=be creative) - Mbappe is lightling fast and a good scorer and excellet player for fast breaks - but lacks "creativity" compared to Ney. Together they are great.

    Video Documentary Matchday

Havent found any thread for this ... I watched the documentry (it is free!!) on https://www.rakuten.tv and I have to say: it is good. Not super good but good. You do not get any secrets, as it is stripped off of all specific tactics or super personel stuff, and everything is focusing on the...

Lliga | Round 16: Real Sociedad - FC Barcelona 2-2

They are nr4 in la liga - with goals 26:18, so they do not score that many goals. (Barca 41:18) It will be a test, how good they A team is currently. Solid performance in 1st half is important, given the classico 4 days later. ;) Anyone knows if Jordi A., Semedo, Arthur, Dembele make a return...

    Arthur

I have no details about this ... but I find it interesting what research has been found .... funny detail though: in an interview bob beamen who jumped 8.90 which was 55cm more than the last record was drinking and partying the day he had this record... some say because of that ... others...

    Ivan Rakitić

no doubt it looks bad, but there are 2 other players that are closer, in front of lukaku, and thus have better angle - lenglet and wague... why should raki do this? that is beyond me... dont get me wrong, I do not defend this guy ususally, but not in this situation...

    Penal Madrid

maybe they overcome the humiliations and do not recreate past happenings ;-) I would say there is about 1in6 chance that we win CL this year.

    Ernesto Valverde

The fact that Lukaku was a graveyard of good chances yesterday has nothing to do with X schooled Y a lesson. ;) The only lesson was that Inter tought me, that they can come out of HT lukewarm not really motivated by conte in such a match. :-D

    Ivan Rakitić

Yes this space is place for the DM. IF he has the game in front of him... So, even though, there are 3 defenders in a row umtiti, tolibo(marking martinez) and wague on the side, closer to the goal, and leglet coming from the side of lukaku (better takkle position than raki) you ask raki to...

@ BBZ8800: more distance is not bad per se - I think we agree. At the same time, we all agree that if someone who has a focus on beating numbers, KPIs, will have excellent numbers --- but overall, the higher goal is not met. If, lets assume, a scenario..... Raki joggs 90min on the pitch...
