    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

I've reiterated this several time now but I feel an urge to repeat myself again: we're lucky to see such a phenomenon play week in week out. Can't believe he has scored 8 goals in his last three games. And on top of that, he passed Rooney in overall goals scored.

    Sergio Busquets

Nobody said, he HAS to be. It is an option worth considering, nonetheless. But inded, I would prefer Yaya as a DM of course.

    Sergio Busquets

Barca96: What happens when Xavi returns will be basically seen then. The thing is, that if Yaya will be able to play other positions in the midfield as good as he did against Stuttgart, I do not see a problem in rotating the midfield a bit, which would give Xavi the necessary rest when needed...

    Sergio Busquets

If Biscuits is all well, I'd gladly see him and Yaya take over the midfield again in the absense of Xavi.

    Yaya Toure

According to the table most passes were made by Piqué. Yet, Yaya did boss the midfield.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

    Aye, he did. '83, '84 and '85.

Who do you want in the Quarter Final?

I'd want Arsenal for the sake of proving justin and all the other frequent EPL fanboys wrong about their quest for world's dominance. However, I'd rather have them in semi's, so my pick is Lyon. Besides, if any of you saw Bordeaux last night, you wouldn't really want to face them. Lolo Blanc...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

To your first question - yes it is. Rummenigge, Van Basten, Cruyff, Keegan and Platini have all won it for two consecutive years. Would be great seeing Messi enter that list.

    Sergio Busquets

Merv: You're right there. When asked about the reason for the sub, he basically said it was nothing more than a knock. Hopefully he's right.

    Positive Thinking Cules

Ibra's assist. Bojan's goal. Us playing well without Xavi. Pep's subs and formation change. Messi's magic. Barça <3

    Gerard Piqué

Pique was simply majestic yesterday. Also enjoyed plenty of his long balls and how they opened up play. Don't think we've used them that much this season?

    Bojan Krkić

Can't hide the happiness of seeing him score. Brilliantly placed shot.

    9 - Samuel Eto'o

No offence, but I think I just had enough. First of all, it's an Eto'o thread and most likely established to discuss the player himself without inflammatory and somewhat rather naive jibes caused by a sudden whims of mood change at our current players. It's not to say that Ibra has been...

    Champions league 09-10

If, and necessarily only if, we pass Stuttgart tonight, I'd for some reason fancy of meeting Arsenal now or in the semi's. Assuming, of course, both teams will make it thus far.

    Champions league 09-10

What on earth is wrong with Inter's finishing?! They've had amazing opportunities to seal the damn game and win it ages ago! Unbelivable.

Eto'o just flushed his decision-making down the toilet.
