    Santiago Vergini

Even if he's like Javi Martinez, it wouldn't hurt to get one for free, would it? This is what I already love about Martino - getting good players from unexplored lands for free/cheap. It's the sign of a very strong manager. Even Pep wasted so much of our money over signings like Ibra. I already...

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

Martino would be a Barca legend. I probably said it first.

    Santiago Vergini

By watching tapes on him of course.

    Santiago Vergini

Vergini can be a good addition. He would come on a free transfer so that would save a lot of money from our transfer budget. Moreover, at 24 years of age, Vergini is a decent center back who would fit in with the Barca style nicely. He wins headers easily because of his height and is a superb...

So that's even better. I say we buy him.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Well, I don't know what's up with Virgini's goal stats on wikipedia, but if Martino is thinking about him he can be a good addition. He would obviously be super cheap so we would save a lot of money from the transfer. Moreover, at 24 years of age, Vergini is a decent center back who would fit in...

Did Martino already bring Vergini with him? Did we sign him?

    Pre-season friendlies 14/15

I missed the game, but sure didn't like the result. Martino will surely find this game where to start working from.

Neymar will score .. goals his first season @ Barca

Definitely over 20 in all competition. In a partnership based on lots of assists and goalscoring opportunities with Messi, he's gonna score decent number of goals.

    State of La Liga

It really is a matter of great concern as to why La Liga is doing so bad financially. The big Sheikhs buy up clubs everywhere except Spain. Other than the big 2, no other club can hold on to their star players. How this situation can change is beyond me.

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

The front line up is going to be mostly like this: Neymar-Messi-Pedro/Sanchez Xavi/Cesc-Iniesta/Cesc Busquets I think Messi and Neymar should be fixed starters. Sanchez and Pedro should rotate between them for the 3rd forward role. In midfield, Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc should be rotated...

Who should be the next Barca coach?

There's already heavy news in the Spanish media that Tata has signed a three year contract with Barca.

    Cesc Fàbregas

May I add Phil Jones somewhere...

    Alexis Sanchez

Hopefully Tata being a South American coach can bring out the best of Sanchez. Hopefully he can help him about.

Who would you pick, Luis Enrique or Tata Martino?

Well, I had no idea about who Tata was until a couple of days back. And now strangely enough I've started to like the guy somehow. Enrique could have offered all the super fitness routines that he would have brought with him (which Barca can use a great deal); but still then Tata has a strange...
