I'd argue he's more suited to be a replacement for Xavi than Fabregas is. I think Fabregas will work better with Xavi than Iniesta.

Iniesta is a lot more creative than Nasri. Nasri for me is more like a Ljungberg type but a better all round footballer. Why would Fergie drop Hernandez? Nasri would want to play in Rooney's role.
