3 weeks off, then have to ease him in meaning another week or two at half intensity, almost the whole season at this point.
Sorry but if this continues next season this has been a waste of money.
Seeing Tek in action against Benfica brought a tear to my eye.
It's not even that he saved everything thrown at him, it's how he commands the box on crosses that i liked. I simply forgot how it is to have a keeper that collects anything that flies.
Furthermore, we see with Tek that having a...
Beside that chance at the beginning of the match, I thought he did as well as he could while playing one man down.
I'm not his biggest fan, often criticized his inability to win duels, but he did his part decently against Benfica.
Too full of himself at times. Should release the ball faster, he can pass with the best of them. Don’t know why he is so stubborn sometimes, youth I suppose.
We had the VAR review and showed Araujo's shoulder keeping him on, not Inigo's foot. It also took 3 business days to show it, you can always count on something fishy going on with LaLiga's VAR cartoons.
Although it does look like Inigo's foot is keeping him onside.
No pace, average technique, headless etc.
Should be a bench player until he improves or, if not, should look to sell. We have more obvious needs than CMs with no outstanding quality and he has clout. Could sell him for big bucks.
To whom should I apologize?
Anyway, been much better as of late, can’t complain. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t a passenger for most of the season until recently, but at this level he will certainly have a place in the team.
In Flick's team he doesn't have a position to play. Too limited as an AM and for the double pivot we have Pedri with Casado/Frenkie, next year Bernal probably. He is another body for rotation but when all players are available he'll warm the bench.
