Not really. He was too good to be a back-up for a young Busquets. Most La Masia DMs will have to sacrifice some time if they want to make it here, cause Busquets has many many years to play.

Since he'll " be allowed to leave Barcelona in the summer ", I don't think that his contract expires this summer. IIRC his contract is up to 2015.

Koscielny's idea of defending is: kick the opponent, if the ref didn't see it, do it again, if the ref did see it, give him the innocent look and try better to hide it next time. He's just a bit above average and will never give stability for a team like Barca that plays with 1 defensive...
