I know it's early in the season, but thank you Hoffenheim. I figured us dropping points at Freiburg would begin the typical "let's chase Bayern" for the rest of the season routine, but it does not look like that spiel has started yet.
Wouldn't be the first time someone from the second division immediately won the Bundesliga after gaining promotion. Kaiserslautern comes to mind. 1998 I think it was.
Same exact here! I remember that goal like it was yesterday. I was some kid in a refugee camp watching this on our TV. I was a BVB fan for a bit by then and it was glorious!
Same here re: Lars Ricken. That goal was epic. I became a fan of BVB around 1996 when I was 8. It has always been my first love. I'm thinking we'll go as far as the quarters this year and bow out, but surprises may be in store.
Because people don't understand the difference between legit criticism and envy/jealousy and they lack the vocabulary to find a better word. Though in IAmGundogan's case, I don't think he meant the word "hate" in the modern, hipster way.
I'm not a true Barca fan. I have never lived in Barcelona nor in Catalonia nor have I traveled to the place or watched a football match at the Camp Nou. I have enjoyed their football however. I just find your litmus test odd to these people in Zagreb. You expect someone who grew up there and...
I'm not from Zagreb, but Dinamo has a lot of history and tradition. Plus some of our posters actually live there and have supported the club their entire lives. It is unrealistic to expect someone in that situation to cheer for Barca and not be labeled a "true cule" (whatever that means).
