Yes. But that's what EPL clubs do regularly. They just fix mistakes by injecting more capital, because their owners have billions.
True, but even clubs like Newcastle cannot spend much of their vast (ill gotten) wealth, because of PSR constraints.

That's another elephant in the room - clubs like Newcastle and Villa have plenty of money, but are constrained by the financial rules.

Well yeah money always controls Football

It did in the past too

Players also wanted to sign for Madrid and Barca because they paid crazy wages, not just history, beaches and sunshine

You guys paid Messi and Ronaldo crazy crazy wages

When Serie A was the pinnacle they also had the most money

Money dictates Football.

No.

He is the biggest fraud of all top players.
Disappears in EVERY big occasion.
We have enough sample the last 4 seasons at City, and the conclusion is clear

Really hope Florentino gets him for Madrid
He'll suit Madrid's counter attacking transition style a lot more than City

He did score against Real in last game and has scored v Arsenal, Man Utd and both games v Liverpool this season to be fair.

Def out of form though and barely even getting chances.

group stage doesn't count.

I want evidence of what he does in big occassions. Knock-out games against top opponents, or title-deciding games in the league

Even in the season City won CL, he was invisible in the 2 games against Madrid and the final against Inter

If Rudiger can easily pocket him year after year, I am pretty confident Cubarsi can
Very different defensive attributes.

Rudiger is fast, big and strong. Cubarsi is small, slow and weak.

Cubarsi is an excellent passer. Rudiger is a great ball carrier.

If Elanga and Barnes can get in behind Barca's defense in transitions I'm pretty sure Haaland can.

It does count and he scored 2 in 1 game last season v them in KO stage.

Scored v PSG last year also and this season has scored in both games v Liverpool and away to Arsenal also.

Been out form lately but to say does nothing in big games isnt quite right.

He would score a ton for Real.

I mean City will never be good again until they can go get people that are actual threats in attack.

You have Savinho and Doku who are touchline beat 1 man dribble merchants with no scoring. Ok so let them beat guys 1v1 and have the help defender finish them off everytime makes them useless as hell.

Then you go from prime De Bruyne/Gundogan/Rodri/Silva to something much much less skilled this cycle so now you cannot even slice through teams anymore.

The last few years City is ass. But try to play like they did when they won the treble. That's all on Pep out there acting like Hansi Flick
