So Barca can win league despite every attacker being burn out.

Impressive.

Burn out must be very selective when hits.

It misses the games v Real in Supercopa but hits v them in league.. it misses the home cup and league game v atletico but hits in away leg of cup.

We can. We will have to suffer some, but can be done despite our level dropping.

They are not in Barcas situation so irrelevant to any point made.

You claim Barca are elite mentally then claim too tired to perform in a game v Newcastle.

If Barca are burnt out then not much will change by 2nd leg.

Lets see.

It is known for the human body to regain some vitality after taking some rest. Which is also what I need to do from this conversation.

So Raphinha if plays well in big game is 'big game player' if doesn he is 'burnt out'.

Top stuff.

If Barca lose it is all burn out if they win league and somehow CL.. excuses will be made and back to 'big game players'.

When for Xavi playing 17 yr old Gavi 3500 minutes was nothing.

With Xavi and Real it is endless about how difficult it is to defend titles.. for Flick it is all about him ruining the palyers.

Calma. With all the huffing and puffing, Newcastle amassed an XG of 1.30. The likes of Rayo and Sevilla pummeled us far worse. We'll dispatch them at the Camp Nou and perform better away with the returning players in the quarters.

Some coaches might've done marginally better
I really doubt that. I don't see a single coach capable of achieving more than Flick with this squad's quality and depth. Especially in the CL against billionaire's toys and statesponsored washingmachines. Players like Martin, Cancelo, Balde, Araujo, Casado, Rashford, 39y old Lewa, Ferran are good enough for a weak LaLiga, but not European top-lvl. And I'd also argue players like Fermin, Eric, Olmo, Kounde can have top games, but also bad games where they're useless or worse, a liability. Simply put they're not constant enough or somewhat limited. Then you have Bernal and Gavi you can't really predict the form they can reach again after ACL. We have only Pedri, Lamine, Frenkie, Joan, Cubarsi and Rapha good enough if they're fit for the highest level. That's 6 players.

Yes, cause flick is the greatest manager of all time with no flaws.
Nobody can do better and achieve more than him!

As opposed to Newcastle players who according to your logic perform consistently week in and week out? Your post is almost devoid of substance.

Agreed that Newcastle didn't play great either. Was a pretty poor match from both sides. The game had, what? 4-5 serious chances for both teams combined, including the goals?

The level we showed lately is not such a huge worry for Newcastle or even Atletico, but if you think about aiming and competing for higher targets, vs Arsenal most likely, this is obviously nowhere near good enough.

Newcastle were by far the better team.. without playing great and are in very poor form and missing best players.

It can happen and all players have off nights as does Flick.

There is a chasm in physicality/pace and power between teams last night and Barca couldnt overcome it with better technical performance.

The second leg should be different.

There’s nothing more Barçaforum these days than JamDav and Serghei arguing. Back in the days it used to Jamrock against JamDav but the former is not as active as he used to be.
